An extensive cooperation between DFB and T-Com to build up the internet portal www.fussball.de into the biggest football community of Germany. The recently reworked portal encourages the users to interaction and let them become members of a football-crazy community. The features are based upon the web 2.0 technology with open intersections. Users thus can create own contents to be positioned online. From the possibilities the new community offers to them especially the amateur clubs in the lower divisions and their members make a profit.

Internet makes the communication between the DFB national associations and the clubs easier. In addition the amateur clubs have an attractive tool to further integrate their members and to gain new members.
